Building Block Series – Building Block Three – Yarn Over and Bobbles

Next in the series we will be focusing on learning yarn overs and bobbles!

This THIRD class will be focusing on knitting YARN OVERS AND BOBBLES! A yarn over is an increase resulting in a lovely hole that is the basis of lace knitting. Bobbles add texture and charm to any knitted item!

Want to take your knitting to the next level? Our Building Blocks series is the perfect way to learn some more knitting techniques that build upon your beginner skills. Students should be familiar with how to cast on, the knit stitch, and purl stitch. (We recommend taking our Beginner Knitting Workshop beforehand if you need the basics!) Other than that, bring your excitement to learn and our expert instructor, Jen, will give you the tools you need to knit with confidence!

Each workshop will cover a new technique which students will practice by making an approximately 12” x 12” square. Our Building Block series workshops are all available individually, so you can pick and choose which skills you want to practice or join us for all 12 and make an afghan with your blocks!
